  • “Child” means 6 to 11 years old when using the JAPAN RAIL PASS.
  • From the age of 12 , the person is considered an adult.
  • If the child is 11 years old at the time of purchase or issue of the voucher, he or she remains considered a child, even if he or she is 12 years old when using the PASS.
